The scope for growth in
education provision in China is immense. Not only do many Chinese
parents seek access to the world’s top universities for their sons
and daughters, but the country’s history, diversity, and culture
make it an essential experience for western students. Oxford University will soon open its China Centre, designed to provide a meeting place for students of different disciplines. As the educational world looks to learn more about China, opportunities increase for China and its students to become more integrated in that educational world. In July 2009 Kingsgate Education signed a Memorandum of Understanding with EG Verlander & Associates to collaborate in educational programmes in mainland China. Over time, Kingsgate Education looks to expand links within China and forge partnerships with institutions and education departments sharing our educational philosophy. Online learning, language and culture courses, intensive pre-university courses (delivered in Hong Kong and across China) are part of this mission. |
